Red cherry, cranberry, under ripe raspberry, red plum, rhubarb, raisins on finish and smoke smoke.

Oaky but not too over the top, earthy and funky, and dark cherries.

Day two looks better and shows more weight. Copious white flowers and almondy. Palate is white underripe peaches with crunch rocks. Would be great with some S&P Squid

black volcanic soil shines through. soulful expression of pinot noir.

Baden. Pinot. Kaiserstuhl. An old vulcano in the rhine valley. GG. Warmest area in Ger. figs grow there. Undertasted, ratet und non existent in the US. A suitcase import. Under imported. And overpriced when they are imported. Bought this for 20 bucks in 2012. Brown tinge. Orange zest nose, brown tinge. In the glass blueberries, bark, touch crushed marble, cardamom, hint turmeric, cherries and black tea. Great juice! Might go back May 2024.

Smokey nose. At first unimpressive but opened up. I can't give this a very high rating now and have to try this tomorrow again. Way to young hard to read now. Next day not that great.

2010. This will be awesome in a few years when the oak mellows a bit. Right now it was great with the lamb duo and smoked duck breast at V Mertz.
