Jan 21st, 2020If it just rained on a bunch of rocks and slate, then you took some lemons, limes, and granny smith apples and crushed them along with their blossoms, that's what this wine smells and tastes like to me. Very dry to me for a feinherb. There's also some petrol-y stuff (think new garden hose) in there too for sure. Then again, I'm catching a cold. Didn't care for the wine at first, but it has grown on me as it warms up in the glass.

Off dry. Feinherb... delicious and delineated with stone fruits, tons of minerality and utterly fresh

Golden colored, confectionery sugar, cotton candy, peach, and some citrus like lime also slate & stone. Very engaging nose but not effusive. More austere flavors on mid palate, strong acidic backbone leading to bone dry finish.
