Pretty yummy little sylvaner/Pinot Blanc blend.. nice honeyed notes on the nose with some papaya, candle wax/beeswax, fun palate.. slight creaminess, refreshing citrus. Minerals on the finish. Tasty little wine.

Intended to get a Chablis for oysters as I love that pairing and couldn’t resist the label. Pleasantly surprised and was $20 cheaper than the others I normally buy. Not quite as complex as some other serious whites but completely ok with that. Paired extremely well and drinks just as nicely on its own on a patio.

Feb 26th, 2024I bought this wine for cooking mussels (couldn’t help myself given the label artwork), and we ended up very pleasantly surprised at how well it drinks. Paired wonderfully with the buttery mussels. Bright acidity and sea-reminiscent minerals balance white peach, nectarine, and lemon zest flavors. A bit more body than expected. Good stuff.

Another excellent vintage of this nice little Alsatian White Blend. (90% Silvaner/10% Pinot Blanc). Hint of white flowers and ripe yellow apples on the nose. Fresh tropical fruit flavors and peppery spice on the pallet. A bit of a creamy texture. A hint of fizz which makes this wine very refreshing. Great QPR- even with a tariff on French wines.
