Beautiful gold color. Lovely fusel oil nose and classic Riesling notes. Great minerality, acid and luscious fruit. Just the right amount of residual sugar. Fantastic wine; thank you Terry Thiese.

Hard not to love this, especially on a warm evening and knowing there are 13 reds to follow. Outstanding and will probably be even better in a few years. Spectrum Auction Tasting at San Diego Wine Storage.

Unreal complexity. Green apple, honeysuckle, citrus rind, peach skin, petrol. A honeyed sweetness that never feels heavy and is backed by loads of acid. 8.5% Spatlese that has the weight of a young Kabinett. Absolutely outstanding.
