Oberhäuser Brücke Spätlese Riesling

Wowow. Powerful yellow florals. Perfume, gasoline. Aromas really lifting from the glass. Golden raisin, just-cut straw, salted light caramel, dried peach, melon, lemon, citrus zest. Brilliant, electric palate. Perfect RS/acid balance. Concentrated, really luxurious texture, almost opulent. Singing.

Wow what a delicious wine, peach and nectarine, long finish, great drinking window at 8 yrs

Sweet and very pure with a punch of gasoline and minerality behind a ripe pure fruit middle.

Poured into a decanter and much darker than I would have expected. Big tropical nose. On the palate I found it to be clumsy. Auslese would have been my guess if I was tasting blind . Storage issue? Vintage traits?

Strong scent of wet rock and perfumed citrus. Taste is slightly sweet, but not overly so; medium acid; it’s creamy, tart, and perfumed; taste of peach & honey suckle with a lingering, mineral finish. Light and fresh; flavorful yet subtle; so elegant. Delicious on its own and with a meal of diverse flavors.

Medium sweet but perfectly balanced with richly integrated acidity. Citrus, white peach, apricot and light petrol on nose and palate. Very long finish with stoney minerality to the end. Needs time for added complexity but it's already a beautiful wine, a classic spåtlese.

Has aged beautifully, with a nose of peach cobbler, apricot marmalade character. Blood orange zest with a full and weighty palate that lingers.
