Medium ruby to medium garnet in color. Nose has black raspberries, smoke, leather, and a little nutmeg and pepper. Very nice aroma. Nice full- bodied mouthfeel with good balance of acidity and tannin. Not too much fruit, more earthy. A nice old world style wine with a nice finish.

Nose had white vinegar but not in a fouled way. It stayed a bit hot but I don't have a lot of experience with anglianico grapes. Medium bodied. Kind of interesting.

2012 vintage. Nice nose of black cherry. Medium body and complex. Spices with flavors of the volcanic soil. Very nice.
