Elegant mineralogy with a touch of salinity due to the vineyards proximity to the Pacific. Just exceptional

2018 vintage. Possibly the best old-world styled pinot I've ever had from the New World. Definite surprise it's from Santa Rita Hills. Beautiful, classical and exquisite. Pronounced “Donna-Kah.”

The nose explodes with dried flowers, herbs, and fruit. On the palate more of the same with baking spice and decent acidity. Definitely needed 1+ hour of air. This is phenomenal SB Pinot. You really want to just keep sipping every 30 seconds.
