Mudded strawberry, cherry, pear and slight peach fruit, hot stones, herbs, spring flowers. Mineral throughout, nice interplay of fleshy fruit, pithy citrus, and bitter notes across the palate. Has a distinct earthy feel to it, somewhat musky, somewhat reminiscent of the garrigue-laden wines from the S. Rhône.
