Mar 15th, 2019Beautiful fruit and acid-driven Chardonnay with wonderful texture and a bit of funk. Holiday dinner bottle next to some old Bordeaux as an intro to the natty stuff for my folks.

What a wine at 11 years! So much lemon, seagrass, peaches, a bit of stone, some lemon curd. It coats the palate. Interestingly it opened up with more fruit over 2 hours. It is so freaking good. It’s really like a fresh lemon tart with a tiny bit of cream and the crust with some orchard fruit and the at the ocean. Unbelievable. I loved this wine 8 years ago and love it more now.

2022. Crisp, lemony, apples, and enough creamy body to pair really well with butter chicken for dinner tonight!

I love this wine. Lemons, some bread, tons of minerals and acidity. Really well balanced. I also get some grassy flavors on the finish. Outstanding.
