Selección de Bodega Malbec

This wine is inky dark, with no light getting through the glass. Black fruit provides the sweet part of the nose, while tar, earth, tobacco, and coffee cover the savory side. Blackberry and plum flavors are joined on the palate by earthy minerals and a brisk acidity. The tannins are firm and seem to eagerly await a pairing with some beef. It’s a delicious wine, so if you’re not pairing it with food, that’s okay.

Deep ruby red and completely coats the glass. A bit tight on the nose with cocoa powder, red plums and cherries. Heavy tannins (7/10) and medium plus bodied. A bit of tobacco and smokiness on the palate, with some white pepper, black cherries, a little leather and earthy rounded mouthfeel. Dry and long finish with a bit of heat coming through. Give it some time to breathe. Drink till 2024.

This is a selection of their beet fruit

Deep red hues with a compact nose of intense fig, creosote and plum jam. The palate falls a bit short of the heavy toned nose. The medium body carries the freshness of the fruit but lacks the concentration and power that is foreshadowed I the bouquet. Overall pleasant sipper finishing with some tart light tannins.

Just seems out of balance. Biased though. Malbec isn't my thing.

Pretty jammy and ripe, full bodied, black cherry, integrated barrel components on both nose and palate, chocolate, a small bit o funky earth, decent acidity. Will taste tomorrow and update rating. Was expecting a little more.

I had the 1999 vintage. Excellent, full bodied, Although 14,5% alc. you almost do not feel it. Black prunes, red fruits, delicate flavour. Resisted very well ibottled and in cellar for 18 yers. Cork in good conditions. A great pleasure

Smooth and slightly sweet for a Malbec, pairs nicely with lamb.

17/20 (92/100) Насыщенный аромат спелых ягод ежевики, жимолости, чёрной сливы и ванили. Тельное с довольно высокой кислотностью. Танины приятной, мелкозернистой текстуры. Один из лучших мальбеков за поездку.
