Last night's wine. Obviously young but 8 hour decant helped. I still contend that pretty much everyone likes Brunello.

Never going to be a great wine but was always decent. Being an ‘04 helps. 15 years on this is a really good wine, very much characteristic of the appellation. I would drink it NOW.

A tad disappointing for the vintage, but still delicious. Nice balance and mouth feel, finished waned far to quickly.

Classical Brunello from a little-known estate in Montalcino. Clear notes of flowers and cherries that leave place to more seductive hints of spices (cinnamon and pepper) after few rotations, terminating with a minty balsamic note. Elegant taste, with polished tannins and long persistence. A wonderful product, ready to be drinked after 10 years.

Excellent wine. Went very well with the roasted chicken and Georgia sunset. As it opened up could definitely taste the cocoa, cherries, and tobacco. Not to heavy on the palate. Wish it has a stronger finish. Bought three bottles drank one. Going to stash the others away for a little while. Interested in seeing how they mature.

Tried this wine last year (see previous review), and loved it. This bottle also rich and complex. Has beautiful musty age on the palate. Still believe it is at is peak.. mature... and should be enjoyable for another 5 yrs if properly stored. But I might not take the chance. I will drink my cache over the next couple of years!

20 minutes open reveals earthy tobacco and cherries on the nose. Full on the palate with fruit forward... And some age showing. Wine is not a heavyweight, but floral and somewhat light. Ready to drink... Mature.
And because of its medium weight I would not expect this wine to mature much further. Enjoyed with earthy mushroom pasta un light cream sauce... And sautéed fresh tuna with fresh chopped tomato..
