Intense, complex nose. Flinty, Meyer Lemon, oaky notes and a hint of pineapple. Medium-bodied, quite round, citrus and tropical fruit flavors. Very serious wine

This was a bit polarising. My wife really did not enjoy it and there were claims it tasted too much like banana 😂. There definately was a ripe fruit note but also stoney minerality and wood. Also a bit of sherry. Was something a bit different and would drink again.

Jul 31st, 2022One of the finest Spanish white wines I’ve had in a long time, it is 100% Albillo from vineyards in La Aguilera. Fermented and aged in oak for almost 3 years. Mineral, flinty smell of recently struck matches and gunpowder, reminiscent of some white Burgundies. Fresh, very complex, great acidity. Spectacular
