Usually a solid producer, this didn't show much smaragd character. Tasted like a decent federspiel.

I can never say too much about how wonderful Gruner is, and this one was fabulous. We served it with steak, alongside a chateauneuf du pape and a Barolo (!), and it held its own. This is the little wine that could. Delightful in every way.
