Great example that Gruner can age beautifully. Gruner from one of the top producers in the area comes from their grand cru plot and is done in the most powerful style of Wachau- Smaragd. 1999 vintage still offers flowers and fruit aromas on the nose, it gives you a feeling of hot weather or southern exposure with tropical aromas, has secondary and tertiary aromas of butter, honey, dough, dry field herbs
