Bruck Federspiel Riesling

Outrageous nose of white pepper, lanolin, fresh baby lettuce and loads of intense minerality. Gorgeous ocean breeze scents and lovely aromatic precision. Killer nose. So Austrian. So Wachau. Palate is linear, juicy and has crazy good acidity and terrific ripe and lean fruit. Apricot and bergamot. Long finish and dazzlingly pure and so piquant. Wow. This is stunning and a sick value. As this airs it gets more lush and ramps up the concentration. Stupid good.

Zippy, crunchy and acidic. Love the wine.

Nice Riesling from a producer we always appreciate.

From my cellar via Lyle Fass - This is a great winery/coop. So much fun to do a tasting there in Austria in the Danube valley and it is free. Have been there a couple of times. A great wine. At this point it is starting to turn and enter the aged phase of Riesling. Elderberry, touch white peach, meyer lemon, hint jasmine. Was an incredible value. And still is if you can find it what a treat!!!

A Pale yellow/straw green color, light body greets you upon first pour, with a prominent vegetal nose with notes of fresh latex gloves, green apple, and white peppercorn with just a hint of fresh white flowers. The palate is vegetal, but with notes of fresh key lime, grassy notes, a zippy green fresh minerality that fades nicely into the background. There’s a slight light creaminess, and then some wet stone notes, but overall it’s a beautiful dry Riesling.

This has the desired petrol flavor and an earthy background flavor. For the $, I’m a big fan. Most at this price point are at best minerally and bright but not as interesting

Best Gruner I’ve had in a while

Ligero y seco, un Riesling menos goloso de lo que esta uva suele ser en Alemania o Alsacia. Aroma primario a sidra. Me pide morcilla y Sauerkraut
