Bright golden color leads me to believe this is oak aged, and there's this charred lemon marker on the nose. There isn't as much acid on the wine as I imagine there would be, but plenty of yellow apple and some sweetness on the end.

Very nice Pinot Gris, rich and full body! It was great with gourmet mexican dishes!

2nd choice after bottle of Zind-Humbrecht Riesling was corked-Grrr!! Off dry, tropical bubble gum, pineapple & a little background mold (damp basement), moderate acid. Paired with salmon teriyaki.

This wine was perfect with dumplings and ginger carrots, it's showing the 2011 vintage and is also holding up and showing a bit of age, especially in the color, perhaps a bit advanced but pleasurable. Texture right on for Schlumberger.
