The 2018 Spring Confrerie dinner was a wonderful time with some great Alsatian wines (and non-Alsatian wines) and fantastic food!
Without a doubt the best Pinot Gris I think I’ve ever had from anywhere. Nice comparing this to the Riesling before...a touch more sweet than the Riesling on both the nose and palate. A bit of tropical fruit on the finish balanced out a unique savory type note in the middle. Easy drinking.

2015 vintage. Noticeable RS, though not overwhelming. Rich yellow fruit, poached pear, baked yellow apple, fig preserves, yellow flowers, lemon curd, mineral streak. Very tasty and true to type.

Nose has restrained mineral with pear, grape and some papaya on the nose. Palate shows some good texture, pretty full on and rich peach & pear fruit with a spicy almost Gewürz like finish. Good Mach with Comté
