Les Légendes R Pauillac Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot

This is a wine with a medium-dark tint to it. In addition to red berries, the nose brings a floral element and a trace of oak. On the palate, the fruit is forward while the savory oak notes come in behind. Tannins are quite firm and the acidity provides a tingle. The finish is long, with a hint of mint in it.

Delicious wine made from grapes from Lafite and nearby. Impressive distinctive Bordeaux that is approachable now. Impressive for the price. #wbc18

The 3rd ranked Cabernet blend cuvée from Lafite Rothschild. Deep Crimson with a purple tinge. Muted blackberry on the nose. On the palate austere, lacking in fruit with stern M+Tannins. Quite powerful from the excellent 2010 vintage. Sinewy notes on palate (from younger vines?). Seems to have not aged in 7 years. Give it another 5 to 10 years at least.

Takws a bit to open but when it was open, this wine was delicious. Lots of fruit, great structure, long finish. 2012 Pauillac

Back to the old days----12.5pct AbV. Ample flavors and good with variety of food.

Balanced with oaky berry finish

Dark ruby, medium bodied, structured - nose of blackberries, cedar and spice. Long finish with tinge of vanilla. Tannins was quite prevalent , need to decant longer!

Pauillac at its best. Lead pencil, dry graphite, course tannins all in capsulated by dry rich extracts of dark cherry, blue berry and currant.
