Just concluded the annual Fall seclusion at our cabin in the Rangeley lakes region of Maine, mobile service up there is mostly non-existent, after several days I am posting again. Notes are somewhat brief, as my focus is relaxing and watching the Common Loons swimming and diving in the cove in front of our camp.

Nose has moist limestone, cold lime wedge, under-ripe pear, sweet yellow apple, tangerine zest, light petrol notes and dry limestone pebbles.
Palate has candied pineapple, dried lemon, lemon zest, warmed green apple with ripe acidity and a classy, rich limestone finish, long and contemplative.

Richness of fruit with concurrent ripeness running throughout, intense petrol and mineral notes about. Electric acidity buzzing across all parts of the palate. All traits of a long ripening site(s). Oh riesling on limestone, how I love thee.

Everything one would expect from mid-tier Humbrecht Riesling, albeit noticeably firmer and leaner than 2015. Great intensity and ever-evolving fruit character. It was a crime to drink this so young, but thanks to the fine people at Kobrand for providing samples.

Peach, apple, and pear. M+ acid, m- body, long finish. Very refreshing with citrus, and crisp green apple on the palate. Noticeable minerality. Great price point and a great every day wine.

Lemon straw colour . Just starting to get that touch of petrol note on the nose , along with green apple , chalk , crushed rock. Pretty mouth filling , good acidity and excellent length. More of the mineral , white fruits , white flower character. Good from now and over the next 5 years.
