Clos St. Urbain Rangen de Thann Gewürztraminer

This is lovely. Deep amber in color. The nose is great- tea, spices, a touch of sherry, roses, orange rind, dried flowers. Lovely texture- glycerin and a beautiful balance of sweetness with acidity. Lovely

Dark in color- like a Madeira. Deep and intense with marmalade and a tension and acidity. Interesting.

Aromatic, rich and round. Killer wine!

The Gewurtztraminer was like nothing I've ever had...Turkish delight and the duff of pine forests. Thank you LAC and Meritage brasserie -good grief!

Rich and full of fruits!! So young!!! At the moment slightly unpleasant to drink!! Great potential!!

Waves of flowers, honey, tropical fruit, and spices. Maybe the most graceful gewurz I've had. Weight, texture, acid, sugar, and intensity were balanced fantastically.

Study material, all the aromatic notes lead to think that the wine is sweet, yes there is a touch of botrytis, it can be anticipated on the visual, on the palate all elements expand the orange jam, the Honey, the chamomile, fainted white flowers but vivid yellow and even red flowers, there is some slight residual sugar but not enough to consider this a dessert wine.

Full-flavored, fab mouthfeel, robust finish. Lychee!

Superlative. Full stop.
