Vielles Vignes 2022 Givry. Drinkable but not memorable, a little hard edged and clunky but has some nice tart fruit and a stemmy quality.

Not bad for the price. A little seedy and stemmy, but it has a nice nose. A good value at $32.

Not much to it. Light fruit and texture. Very short finish. Not terrible, but just lacked “umph”.

Very intense – the kind of burgundy that can take on a hanger steak and then still cut through a tin can. Seems a little more like Cote de Nuits. Not the Burgundy you'll remember for years, but the kind you hope you drink often.

Nice and easy drinking. Fresh, balanced without significant minerality which could only improve the overall pleasure..
