Vaudésir Chablis Grand Cru Chardonnay

No pre-mox.... mature but in a great place.

Alice wanted to pair it with an old-fashioned Jewish honey cake. I wanted a piece of Vella Special select Dry Jack. We were both right.

Walking the tight rope between freshness and oxidation giving it a contradictory effects of crispness and cream. Almost like tart cream soda. Pretty interesting.

Not oxidized... Caramel hints but still nice minerality

1st bottle premox'd 2nd good.

2004 vintage. Really enjoyable over dinner.

Fine, mushroomy, silky, truffly. Mature but not past it.
