Quite broad & powerful for a Riesling but with complexity & elegance. Great purity of fruit with ripe yellow spicy orchard apples & pears, a touch of apricot and a blooming summer meadow in the background. Nice tension between the electrifying mineral acidity and creamy mouthfeel. This is a beautiful wine, less spectacular and in-your-face vs the top Rheingaus but equally grand.
