Nose has spicy, just ripe cherry, and lots of stony minerals. Very assertive in the mouth, with zingy acids, tart cherry, and the stony thing. Tannins build gradually and are chalky and grainy in the finish, which is to be expected in a press wine. All that tannin and acid has kept this very fresh for a 6 year old Bourgogne. Solid value.

Sappy almost liqueur like red fruits. Lots of gras and volume on the nose. Palate is sappy and rich with lovely fruit and good finesse. Very clean and pure. Aged very well.

More of a quaffer than ledys other wines. Very well made and balanced with excellent fruit and nice unobtrusive acidity. Sometimes that's what you want. I'm having with sausages and polenta.

Easy drinking. Not bad for pressed wine. Not very complex.

Vincent Ledy vin de presse 2011. Love the nose on this really pretty. Nice bright fruits. Needs an hour to open up.

Been a while with this old friend. Age has made this nose a stunner. Floral, ripe fruit, dollop of wet earth. Palate is a big mouthful of dense, wild, ripe berry cherry fruit. Serious tannins still but so ripe and juicy. Rustic. Nice finish of soaking fruit acid and tannin. I love it.

Outstanding as usual. Terrific fruit concentration and freshness. Long mineral finish. Terrific purity. A blend of Chorey/Hautes Cotes de Nuits/Bourgogne Rouge/Savigny Les Beaune. Really unique and tasty wine.
