Wide open stunning nose. Gorgeous, clearly defined mid season cherry fruit with just amazing brightness, depth and clarity. Striking. Earth, spice and citrus round it out. Palate is sweet, sensual and red fruited with velvety and melting tannins. Wow this is good. Such sweetness and freshness. Wonderful balance and purity. This is the best aged Ledy that is not NSG I’ve ever had. Outstanding length and complexity. This might be a 9.5.

Find me a better Chorey. Complex and fragrant nose of raspberry coulis, smoke, tin, leather, smoke, minerals. So complex. Amazing raspberry cake. Stunning aroma. Palate is ripe and sweet with slippery fruit but firm tannins on the back end. Long finish and great quality tannins but firm tannins. Really long and raspberry hits along the way. Fantastic balance and purity. Age is key for Ledy and I see this improving a lot over the next 10 years. Terrific concentration and power. Also shows great finesse despite being a big bodied wine.

Still too young but shows great promise. Awesome nose right now. Tightly wound, firm with good acidity on the finish. I'm sure this will flesh out. It's all there.

Still a bit young. Tanins are still a bit chunky. Great structured fruit though. Mineral. Very serious. Nose just smells like structure. Cubed cherries interlaced with minerals. Almost like this wine wants to be 1er cru Gevrey or something that needs a decade. Very old world. Has acid backbone. Chewy. Honestly I think this needs another five years.

After an hour starting to open up a bit.

After 90 minutes very good. Silky texture. Structured cherries. Long silky finish.

Opens up gracefully over an hour. Rustic nose of decomposing soil, mushroom, leather, coffee grinds, tar, and raspberry. Balanced palate, with cranberry transitioning into granite stone and grey tea. Finish develops supported by soft tannins, and persists with red fruit and fresh acidity. Lighter style. Sneaky Costco find QPR.
