That is one really enjoyable bottle. I love the color of aged white burgundy. Was lucky to find a bottle from my first daughters birth year today. Had to get it and enjoy with her on a visit home. Pineapple aromas with a lemon kicker and honey on the finish.

Colour: almost totally transparent, light yellow, not too much colour.
Nose: quite concentrated nose of rich flavours of smoked spices (but not overwhelming), vanilla, baked apples, quince, nutty spices – all good in balance and still elegant. Not a bold wine, it shows great finesse.
Palate: Light to medium in body, citrus and smoky flavours in combination, not too acid but still good. Drinkable and subtle in flavours. Good minerality to balance the fruitiness and the citrus. Good balance overall of all features.
