Morgeot Vieilles Vignes Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Chardonnay

Very polished. Almost oily. Light and bright. Lifted and shiny. Good, but a little abrupt and tinny compared to the Marc Morey alongside.

2012 vintage. What a great wine - classic Chassagne. You can drink it right after uncorking but give it just 30 min of air and it opens up wonderfully.

Balanced, with some oak and some petrol
