Smoky. Hint of spice. Long finish. Slightly lighter than expected, but not light. Cigar box. Very good with Josh‘s pork chops.

Sep 30th, 2017Started very forward with some heat. Then after 45mn, it all came together. It became very savory. The nose is mineral and sappy. The palate after showing nyc heat was so balanced and fresh. It is still a big wine (15%) but so easy to drink at the same time with air. Meaty, bloody and savory. I love it. Long life ahead.

Apr 12th, 20172011. Fantastic depth - dark dried berries, velvety palate and a restrained finish. Excellent acid.
