Rich, complex , young tight with a big potential, this 2009 Morey is still young and needs a few more years to evolve. Deep Ruby color, lovely aromas of red fruit, earthiness, black fruits, cassis and a touch of mushrooms. Full body, firm tannins,great acidity, well structure though still very tight and needed a few hours to start to open up. My score 90, revisit in 2018, drink to 2026

2020 vintage. This MSD drinking beautifully right out of the gate. Patience will be rewarded if you can afford to leave it alone. Better yet, buy multiple bottles to eliminate that issue. 4.19.23.

Charming and complex nose of red cherries, berries and faded flowers. Elegant yet generous mouthfeel, with a great balance between wine texture, fruit and acidity leaving a very silky touch feeling on the palet.
