Fantastic example of #loirevalley #Sancere. Crushed browning green apples on the nose with faint hints of lemon and lime zest/spritz. Someone in my class noted pine cones. Sour and the initial taste when coating your palate. Upon second taste, abrasive flavors are toned down and showcase bright green apples with lemon and grassy overtones. Finish hangs on for quite some time with most of the flavor centering in on the back center portion of your tongue.

Great minerality and snap. Some cut grass but not like a strong NZ sauv blanc, of course.
