La Louée Sancerre Rosé Blend

Approachable and pleasing. Nice chalk & minerality paired with white cherry, tart strawberry and underripe watermelon. Usual cast of characters, no fluff, no surprises - what you would expect from 15$ Sancerre

Equal parts chalky, earthy, minerality and ripe white cherries. Acid is tremendously high, and the palate is bone dry and refreshing. The finish falls off quickly or it would surely receive higher ratings. Still, quite enjoyable, and at a perfect 12.5%.

Sancerre, not just white wine. Racy rosé too.

Tart and refreshing but has a spine!

Crisp. Lots of minerality. Strawberries. Hints of watermelon. Definitely a food rose - given its strong personality.

Good daily drinking Sancerre Rosé. Crushed rock and under ripe strawberries on the nose. Ripe watermelon and more strawberry on the palate with a brilliantly mineral crisp finish that is at once long and clean. Really good wine for a great deal.

Regal rose. The subtlety continues to call me back to the glass for enjoyment. There are enough minerals intact to call this complex and enough fruit to call it easy. Delicious.

Good wine but almost too much acidity for me.

A little too much fruit for me, but pretty solid.
