Dense apricot pit, white flowers, volcanic pebbles. So dense & concentrated that in hindsight a decant may have helped. Still, absolutely fascinating in its layers. Paired with another DeGrom masterpiece; with strong farmers Cheddar & Aged Provolone , then with broiled chicken thighs marinated in yogurt, lemon zest, z’atar, garlic& served w cilantro, Israeli couscous w raisins & toasted pumpkin seeds.

2019 is super saline, vibrant, reductive yet opulent, fresh citrus. Excellent. Sadly a very low yielding vintage.

Still one of my favorite Greek wines. Delicious lemon and sea salt. The wine is slightly cloudy. Crisp and refreshing.

Intense, mineral, salty, and (surprisingly this time) with a touch of ripe apricot.
Still - the fresh sea breeze and hot beach pebbles are unmistakable.
On the palate this is so concentrated with a brilliant tension between the mineral, salty, creamy character and the lemony, zippy acidity. A touch shy fruit barely shows in the background.
This never disappoints!!

Wow. Pure volcanic minerals. Beautiful despite the 14.5 alcohol.

Really love this stuff. Rock solid with deep complexity, heft, and a long finish. Gets much more approachable with air so, as it stands, the longer the evening tarries on the more this wine rewards you.

Big shoulders on this one 👊🏻 Wax, citrus, coastal minerals, sea salt, oyster shells, honeycomb. This is awesome.
