Domaine Sigalas
Mm Cyclades Mavrotragano Mandilaria
Smoky, with tar, dried flower bouquet, fresh red fruits with good acidity and firm, but fine tannins. Excellent wine, very Barolo like and varietal driven wine.

Aug 14th, 2015Fantastic wine. Well balanced, subtle fruit, medium tannins. Easy to drink. At $30, not a value, but worth buying again. I don’t know anything about Greek reds. But this is excellent. Price maybe higher given smaller market.

Jan 11th, 2022Better and better the longer it's open. Sweetish nose, hard candy, a smoky note. Sweet on palate too, almost like a slightly ripe chianti. Good bottle. Mom in town #3.

Oct 17th, 2021Dark fruit, earthy and mineral with saline freshness and unusually light body but with significant tannin. Delicious!
