Domaine Serge Laloue
Sancerre Pinot Noir
Dark brick red. Subtle nose. Tart black cherry light body, good acidity that is well incorporated. Not too dry on the finish.

Nov 28th, 2013Red from Sancerre. Will wonders never cease? What’s impressive about this effort is how the mild and sunny weather of Loire did not over cook this wine. The flavors are strong, but restrained. It tastes like a lot of work went into getting an excellent balance of cherry, pencil shavings and lively acidity. Serving it a little chilled enhances the experience.

Aug 2nd, 2024Medium+ garnet in color with a nose of black plum & black cherry with a fairly strong nose of same fruits & leather. In the mouth medium bodied, very smooth, nice tannins on the finish and mild acidity- on the dry side for a Pinot. Flavors just like the nose- pretty nice wine!
