Between this and the ‘15 Grace Vineyard, I actually think this may have been the better wine. Obviously more integrated and harmonious on the palate with the added age, but the aromatics here were beautiful. Truffles, potpourri, pomegranate, and sappy birch wood. Acidity still carrying this nicely with a wonderfully light and lifted palate, showing more pomegranate, violets, and candied black cherries.

Has aged beautiful so far. Tannins are much softer and flavors has opened up. Excited to taste the next one next year

This 2018 was rounder and smoother than the younger vintages, simply divine. And perfect with a grilled lamb kabob dinner.

You have to let it breathe for a few hours but it really opens up. The nose is lite but fruity... the palate has a lot of dark fruit. There is a little bit of spice too. Very good
