Jul 20th, 2020The ‘Grace Vineyard’ Pinot Noir is a barrel selection from this exceptional site in the Dundee Hills AVA. The aromas are intoxicating right out of the gate, as this warm vintage Pinot Noir is not needing a long decant. Rose water, ripe red plums, strawberry puree and guava aromas all combine with lovely earthy and wet rock nuances that all are woven together in the beautifully glass. Exuding sheer class on the palate, this gorgoeus Pinot Noir slowly unveils ripe red fruits that mingle with minerals, potpourri, exotic spices and shades of wild blackberry jam. The silky texture entices and adds to this wonderful drinking experience. Fantastic in its youth, the Grace Vineyard Pinot Noir will shows wonderful promise for an exceedingly long evoloution ahead. Drink 2020-2040

Sep 5th, 2019This was showing a lot of maple, almost syrupy, characteristics. Baked fig, clove, black cherry pie, and sandalwood dominate the nose. Very explosive aromatics. Toward the finish there was more herbal/earthy underbrush notes...even leaning towards dates and old plum. If you enjoy these with a lot of fruit, I’d pop now, but it’s certainly going to hold in this window for a while.

Jun 1st, 2019Extremely aromatic. Tons of crushed potpourri, sandalwood, ripe black cherry and cola. Still highly acidic (and even fairly tannic) at this age. Small notes of stem and underbrush too. This was dense without being heavy...a bit of a “cab lovers Pinot”.

Jun 19th, 2017Dark and silky finishes. Decanted for one hour. Paired with smoked brisket dinner and it was perfect.

Dec 6th, 2020What an amazing wine. Clean, pure fruit up front. With air, secondary notes of cedar, baking spice, cinnamon, graham cracker came out. Truly special wine.
