Mediumdeep redblue clear color; weak on the nose but dried dark fruits reminiscent of valpolicella and high alcohol; very dense rich full-bodied on the palate kind of rough (unevolved) with long raisiny meaty finish. Interesting to try this -10 vintage in 5 yrs or so. Score reflects experience today, not future potential.

This one was pretty good, not worth the price though. Interesting learning experience though in regard to French wine

2010. Needed time to open up and then paired really well with an assortment of mild Indian lamb dishes. It was nice to have wine after a long weekend of Pilsners, DIPAs, Sour Ales, and Stouts.

Spicy on the finish. Undertones of fruit. A good Gigondas but not a great one.
