Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc

My first experience drinking a Sancerre wine.
I enjoyed the light finish. Will try it again.

No notes, nice, textbook nose with lemon, lemongrass, herbal notes, some minerally touches are lurking in the back too. The palate is fresh, vibrant, leading with lemon touches all along, a nice soft mouthfeel, a bit of an oily texture, some grip and a finish that goes on for a while. Brought by my brother. Second tasting after a first try at Christmas.

Still not drinking but just sampling a sip. Nice nose of lemon, lemon curd, French pastry, vanilla. The palate is ample, with lemon, lemon curd and the same pastry notes all along. Less acid drive than I'm used to in my sancerre. Nice, very hedonistic finish. I would have liked a bit more tension and acid drive but it's delicious anyway.

Lacked minerality, one of us tasted bitterness, but the other didn’t

White peach. Pineapple. Silky with high acid.

Light gold hue. Aromas of cream, floral notes, peach, and pineapple. Palate adds citrus and salt. Medium-light body with high acidity. Medium-length finish.

Pale yellow, medium bodied, passionfruit and herbs.
