Surprised at a very decent showing of a Morgon priced like the 1990s by a producer unknown to me. A bit smoother style than I prefer but dark red fruits& black currants, medium acid. Not in funky style or carbonic maceration that I can detect- just straight up, down the middle Cru Beaujo for 17$

Pass the Douby to the left! Tastes like a cedar cigar box was filled with plums. Great, light red wine that could stand up to elk, moose and other gamay meats. I feel like I just got Beaujolais'd!
