Been sitting on this wine for awhile. Given the vintage, was nervous about its longevity. Given the producer, was nervous about opening too soon. Finally just decided to throw caution to the wind and enjoy a beautifully made wine from a champion of wine who is no longer with us. Hibiscus, ripe cherries, cinnamon, nutmeg, wonder

I’m loving this. Yeah QPR isn’t great but I didn’t buy it so that’s irrelevant. This is a pretty bottle of wine. Will defer to @Noah Raizman & @Joe Tucker if this counts as fake or real burgundy.

So delicious- from .38 hectares- Burnt carpet, traces of plastic evolving into fresh rubber on asphalt and exhaust with a lingering presence of fresh haircut

My first Roulot red and an excellent example. Very metallic, with deep rich, long dark fruit. Give it 3-4 more years.
