Roulot’s 2020 Luchets is gorgeous already, incisive, textural and captivatingly elegant showing impeccable clarity of clean and defined white orchard fruit, fresh lilies, marcona almond and stony minerals. The palate is creamy, pure and ultra mineral with racy citrusy acids and exceptional balance and detail. Beautiful wine.

One of my favorite vintages for Roulot. An absolute classic every time. Chosen over the far too often advanced 2010, 2011 is perfect tonight showing superb depth of aromatics with clean and defined white orchard fruit, spices and toast with a textured and rounded palate and notable length. Perfect white burg off the very special Epicure list.

What a nose. Tropical stuff (pineapple, guava), citrus, stone and oyster shells. Just fabulous, long and complex. On the palate it has real depth of fruit, great complexity and length. A stunning bottle.

Jean Marc Roulot has always been a champion of showcasing individual terroir diversity with his terrific village lieux-dits, and the excellent 2017 vintage which has turned out so well for both red and white burg, is just perfect for it. Les Luchets is fantastic tonight, wafting from the glass with layers of white orchard fruit, lilies, hazelnut, spices and attractive matchstick reduction. The palate is pure and vibrant with a crystalline minerality, an elegant texture and notably impressive length. Really great bottle.

Very poised. Lime, sweetness, flint. Rounded and precise. Exotic at the edges. Quite long.

From the fantastic lieu-dit Luchets, always with stunning purity, tension and riveting minerality. Its reduction and sulphur aromas blow off with a decant to reveal ripe apples, lemon-lime and crushed stones. It’s round with racy acidity and very good midpalate depth that leads to a generously long and refined finish.

A little more advanced than previous bottles... Yellow floral notes, some tangy lime, rocks. Great balance. Very pure

16 and 17 Meursault so drinkable now. Energetic and precise with very good concentration. Squeezed lemon, pastry cream, orange zest and a stoney minerality. Finishes with very good length and finesse. ⚡️⚡️
