Saint Joseph Syrah

Whether the low sulfur charm has been dominated by brettanomyces and VA, or this wine is just northern Rhône gamey off the charts - it’s too much for me. Looking forward to cracking the 2016 I have for comparison. Not holding up or improving imo

Seriously built-up with fierce tannins and ripe acidity creating drinkability if you can accept its natural resistance. Well defined and elegant finish.

Super young. Great but the best lies ahead. Blackberry bramble. Chocolate mint. Tightly packed. Looking forward to tasting this in 10 years.

Yum! So elegant. Pure violet and white pepper. An absolute joy to drink. Love

2007 vintage and showing like a seasoned veteran. Mature and "experienced"...not messing around. It's my birthday and I'll drink what I want!! A special thanks to the J&F crew for procuring such beautiful wines, thanks guys!
