Jun 30th, 2019Very dark and lush fruit. Quite brooding with dark saline gnarly blue undertow then bright edges of strawberry. On the finish, long and satisfying with a masculine almost graphite note. This has a future but is good fun now.

Sweet red fruit, impressive density without weight. None of that black fruit, cassis, surmaturite that a few reviewers have suggested. Definitely has a long life ahead. Tannins still fierce, but we’re talking Burg-fierce not Piedmont-fierce
