Les Saint Georges has always basically been considered the NSG Grand Cru, if there was one, and such prestige was more than evident with this bottle. It’s deep, intense and alluringly complex with a fantastic balance of fruit and earth expression. It’s bouquet is gorgeous as aromas of rose petals, morello cherries and forest floor leap out of the glass. It has a fantastic texture and mouthfeel and it just wraps around the palate in the best way. The finish is tremendously persistent with silky tannins and great energy. Fantastic bottle. Drink more Chevillon!

Beautiful depth of flavor. Good fruit at the front. Still tightly wound but this will give a lot at some time. Patience.

Again with a terrific showing from the excellent ‘15 vintage. Here, with a beautiful elegance, finesse and purity of fruit. Red raspberry, red currant, exotic spices, red flowers with a long, complex and seductive finish.

Corked. 02 LSG from Chevillon is exceptional if you can find it.

Looove 99s! So concentrated and opulent but not overripe or heavy in the least. This was gamey and spicy and still quite chewy, really drinking beautifully right now.

Had this a few years back when it was way too tight. Opened up more now. Dark, dark fruit and earth. Still needs more time to unfurl.

This seemed tighter than the Vaucrains with an underlying elegance that needed some air to reveal dark cherry, raspberry, crushed rock, underbrush, dried herbs, spice & violets
