A gorgeous nose. Deep sweet fruit, plum, some brambly stuff, earth, iron. There’s an almost chambolle-like prettiness too. Strawberry and floral. On the palate this is quite light and supple. No hard edges ok finish. A great drinker.

solid but not head spinning. A firm Nuits. Then after 2 hours the wine just exploded with dark cherry and layered fruit, tannins softened and all the hardness disappeared. Became outstanding.
