07’s drinking so well right now. This was no exception. The last of 3 great after dinner bottles at Compagnie.

Buggy. Blows off.

Great chewiness and a plush open. Good fruit. This is showing real promise but is tight as hell. Should be good.

Brooding dark gnarly fruit with herbal notes, green pepper. More savory than sweet. Delicious.

Love the 2000’s right now . Text book Nuits with earth , tea , minerals with a core of cassis . Quite lovely .

Dark plum color with some hints of age at the edge. Gnarly underbrush, savory plum, black truffle, some rosemary and iron. Lovely depth with meaty fruit and a good finish.

First time tasting 11 Cailles. Tart cranberry fruit. Not bad for 11 vintage. Cleaner than most Chevillon Cailles w/ just a touch of Brett. Tastes good!

Opened NYe tasted a little funky. Drinking New Year’s Day with brunch.
