Good Syrah based blend made by Cornas master Rostaing

Syrah dominant Languedoc from a Cornas master. Berries, herbs and garrigue, dry side with tannins that pull it all together. Great for price and with chicken shish.

2015. Maybe past its prime. Not much going on with this

Second bottle of this in as many months. Still impressed at the complexity this brings for the $$$.

December 2020. Sheltering from the pandemic this winter in Tucson. Silver lining for sure. Purchased at Feast, Bastille Day sale in July. Syrah/Grenache blend from Languedoc. Dark fruit and spice, but not peppery like Syrah can be. Easy drinking, enjoyable. Good QPR. Love a Languedoc red blend. This one did not disappoint 😁

Felt young,. Super herbaceous and smelling like a butcher’s shop that’s caught fire, but the different harmonies need a little time to come into place with each other.
