As one who LOVES Latakia pipe tobacco among his burly and as a boy I just loved those black licorice pipes that bit like browned flour, this is for me. Glorious!

Simply a beautiful #chateauneufdupape. Velvety tannins, some garrigue and not too much of that sweetness present in some 2016s - paired well and held its own with mildly spiced Tandoori lamb chops.
