A wonderfully soft and luscious example of Pinot. A redcurrant explosion is followed by soft, plush tannins. This isn't even bottled at the chateau, that's done somewhere down the road. This is bulk juice that has been beautifully produced. My last bottle of this vintage. Glad I drank it at its peak.

Ramonet Reds are one of burgundy's best kept secrets. This could go at least 10-15 more years. Don't feel bad about popping it now though, it's absolutely 100% ready.
