Batard-Montrachet Grand Cru Chardonnay 2004

Ramonet Batard- sizzling acidity on the nose. Bright lemon, an oily precise midpalate. Real clarity and definition. Excellent — 5 days ago

Very young - but really nice. Hints of crushed fall leaves and a soupçon of nutmeg and slight barnyard- opening up. Smooth on the palate with an elegant finish. This has years to grow and improve. Bravo Ramonet — 5 months ago

Really great shape. Still somewhat youthful & fresh. Full bodied but very elegant. Flavors were fairly classic apple & citrus. Paid $50 way back when — 3 months ago

Montrachet Grand Cru Chardonnay 1992

I have been holding this btl in my cellar for many years & took it to a BYOB dinner where our table was serving mostly older Leflaive Chev & DRC Montys along with Leroy reds. This was everyone’s wotn a perfect btl that seems it could go another 20+ years. A monumental wine!!!! — 18 days ago

Medium lemon yellow colour . Quite rich and ripe on the nose with buttered popcorn , lemon oil , toasty hints and some honeysuckle and peach . On the palate this is also quite rich , with lemon peel , apricot and but balanced by good acidity and a quite saline mineral , seashell tinged finish . Drinking well now and over the next 5-8 years. From a half bottle . — 4 months ago
